So many people complain of low back pain!   We are all breaking down from our busy lives!    This question is asked daily, "can acupuncture help with low back pain?"   The answer is YES!

Honestly, one treatment will do little to help low back pain.  Acupuncture works best when you come in for regular, serial visits.  The beneficial effects build upon each other in a cumulative fashion.

How does it work?   Typically low back pain is a result of blood stagnation/energy stagnation.  What does that mean?  That means that there is a general lack of blood flow to the area.   Energy in the form of cellular and tissue metabolic energy, where there is an injury and a lack of ability for the cells to heal and for the tissue to regenerate.  Acupuncture increases blood flow, moves the energy.  I utilize electro acupuncture which adds electrons to the deficient cells and adds fuel to the system and increases the effectiveness of the treatments.

Think of it as a dose of medicine.  The more you take the medicine, the better it helps and the better you feel.  Acupuncture works similarly, but with NO SIDE EFFECTS.    It is generally very few needles (less than 6) which are painless.  The TENS-like unit when attached to the needles produces no pain on its own.  The effect is amazing when you follow the treatment plan, as directed.  Much like you would listen when a doctor tells you to take a medicine at a certain time, so many times per day.

If you have low back pain, call me now for consultation to go over your health history and exam.   I will let you know if I believe that you are a good candidate for this treatment program.  Remembler, if you do nothing, you will still be in pain.  But if you act on it now and make the call, you could be on the way to your recovery.   Maybe this means being able to go on a trip that you have wanted to go on.  Perhaps you have not been able to go to the Beach.  Or play with your grandchildren at the park.

Call today.   It is an investment in your health and quality of life!
