What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese healing practice that involves transferring energy from the practitioner to the recipient through their hands to promote relaxation, healing, and balance.  the term "Reiki" comes from "rei" which means universal;  and "ki" meaning life force energy.  It is based on the belief that disruptions in the body's energy field can lead to physical or emotional issues.  By channeling energy, Reiki can restore harmony.

In a typical Reiki session, the recipient remains fully clothed while the practitioner lightly places their hands on or above the body.

Reiki is used to reduce stress, ease pain, and support overall well-being and body functions.
