General Acupuncture

Acupuncture utilizes tiny needles to complete a broken circuit in the body, whether due to pain, illness, or lifestyle.  Even stress can create an unclear path for blood and energy to travel.  During a session, about 6-10 needles are inserted.  You are able to relax in our beautiful rooms listening to relaxing music.

Typically patients keep needles in for 30-40 minutes.  

Does it hurt?  Typically these needles are much smaller than the needles they use to give flu shots!    I will work with you to alleviate any fears you may have.  The benefit far outweighs any small discomfort you might feel!  

How many sessions will I need?  Will I feel relief after just one session?   Depending on how long you have had this condition or pain, will dictate how many visits you may need.  It can take more than 1-2 sessions before you feel relief, especially if you have a chronic condition.  But I can tell you that MANY patients say they start to feel relief after 1-2 sessions!      We will talk about this more during your sessions.   Upon your return, we will discuss your treatment and how you felt afterwards.  I will tweak your treatments accordingly!
